Early Prognosis: Miesha Tate not Likely to Undergo Surgery

Former Strikeforce women's bantamweight champ Miesha Tate forfeited her title earlier this month when judo Olympian Ronda Rousey forced her to submit with an armbar in the first round. Tate was too stubborn to tap in time though, and saw her arm bent back ninety degrees as a result. Despite the apparent severity of the injury, it looks like Tate won't be going under the knife.
