Anthony Johnson pulling double-duty this Fall with fight against Jake Rosholt

Fresh of news of an August 24 outing at Titan FC 24, it appears light heavyweight Anthony Johnson will waste little time in returning to the ring and has signed out for a fight less than a month later against Jake Rosholt. The match-up will take place on September 21 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at XFN 8.

XFN (Xtreme Fight Night) officials recently confirmed the bout in an official statement to media.

Rosholt, who is a fellow UFC veteran like Johnson, holds an overall record of 12-4 with eleven stoppages to his credit despite his history as a highly decorated amateur wrestler. The 30-year old, who is 5-1 in his last six scraps, has found past success against the likes of Matt Horwich and Chris Leben.

The 11-4 Johnson will be making his 205-pound debut in August after consistently struggling to make weight at 170/185. He was last seen outpointing Dave Branch in May at Titan FC 22.
