'Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Kennedy' results: Couture outlasts Duarte to take split decision

PORTLAND, Ore. - After a competitive 12 minutes, Ryan Couture had just a little bit more left down the stretch.

Couture, son of UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture, picked up a split decision win over Joe Duarte in a hard-fought bout Saturday. But it took a bit of a comeback to get his hand raised.

The lightweight preliminary-card bout was part of Saturday's "Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Kennedy" event at Rose Garden Arena in Portland, Ore. The fight aired on Showtime Extreme prior to the main card on Showtime.
