Tribute to the REAL men of MMA

With all these sissy wanna be warriors like Jon Jones and Machida ducking left and right, I needed to go back and reassure myself that there was real men in the sport, so instead of being negative I'll look at the positive and salute these fine gentleman who never back down from a challenge. Feel free to add to this list as I'm sure I'm forgeting LOADS of real dudes.

I appologize in advance to Ninjashoes if the weight of balls and fortitude in this thread causes the server to crash.

Vitor Belfort - took a fight with Bones on 30 days notice. Tried to take a fight with Fedor when Juicy Josh Barnett pissed hot and killed an organization, despite Fedor being the #1 HW and Vitor competing at 185lbs at the time.

Chuck Liddell - Was entitled to a shot against Tito Ortiz (who ducked him like crazy), but stepped aside temporarily so the UFC could make the Tito/Shamrock megafight. Invaded Pride and brutally KO'd Mezger and Overeem.

Wanderlei Silva - Took a fight with HW Mark Hunt on 2 day's notice after Sakuraba had to drop out of their fight. Hunt was 60lbs heavier and a terrible matchup stylistically for Wandy but he took it anyway.

Danny Castillo - not the most exciting guy but I don't think he has had a UFC fight that wasn't short notice yet.

And a shout out to all the other fighters who fought injured or on short notice, who didn't need 3 months of training to step in a fight a guy.
