The bout could establish a clear next contender for the welterweight title, with the winner likely earning the right to fight the welterweight king. The title is now held by Georges St-Pierre, who must first face interim champion Carlos Condit when he returns from rehabbing the injury that's sidelined him since 2011. The St-Pierre-Condit bout is expected to take place late this year.
Montreal Fight Card Begins to Build updated August 20
First announced in March, UFC 154's Montreal fight card is beginning to fill up as verbal agreements are in for a handful of bouts.
At middleweight, "Filthy" Tom Lawlor will take on France's Francis "Limitless" Carmont.

In yet another battle between black belts hailing from Canada and Brazil, Ontario's Antonio Carvalho will face TUF Brasil alum Rodrigo Damm. Both fighters are coming off impressive first-round finishes and looking to make names for themselves in the crowded, talent-rich featherweight division.
Also at featherweight, Canadian kickboxing standout Mark Hominick will go to war with submission specialist Pablo Garza.
Montreal, home to UFC® welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre, has set several previous UFC live event records including fastest sellout, largest gate and attendance.More details about the event, including main event and ticket on-sale information, will be released in coming weeks on ufc.com
